Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok)

Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok)

This panorama was taken inside the Central Market Hall (Nagy Vasarcsarnok) in Budapest. The Central Market Hall was built by Gustav Eiffel (more famous for the Eiffel Tower in Paris). It is the largest of five market halls in Budapest that opened towards the end of the 19th-century, and was recently restored in 1994. The Central Market Hall is on Vámház körút, just before you reach Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge).
