Brighton - FURTHER INFORMATION
Brighton - Brighton visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Brighton' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from East Sussex.
Brighton is one of the most popular seaside resort cities in England, famous for the long, pebble beaches and Brighton Pier. The city is part of a conurbation that includes Hove and Portslade near the western border of East Sussex. Brighton became popular when the railway arrived in 1841, making it accessible to day-trippers from London. Today over 18 million people visit Brighton each year. As a result much of the sea-front has been developed into hotels and bed and breakfast places.
Aside from the beach and Brighton Pier, other main attractions include the Brighton Fishing Museum on the beach and the Sea Life Centre, the Royal Pavilion, the Lanes and the North Laine. This map of Brighton shows some of the attractions and places of interest in the city. Select a pin to see the attraction and read some local information.
