Heron Island is one of several small islands in Loch Chon, a short distance north of Loch Ard in Stirlingshire, Scotland. This small freshwater loch is popular for brown trout fishing and occasionally kayaking. Bank fishing permits are available from the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park Visitors Centre. Nearby are the holiday cottages on Frenich Farm.

Loch Chon is about 33 miles north of Glasgow on the A81 and then B289.
