This panorama shows the point at the southern end of Loch Chon in Scotland where water drains from the loch and flows south into Loch Ard. Just to the north of here is a small peninsula known as Ceann Mòr. This loch lies in the Balmacara Hills in Sterlingshire, a little east of Loch Lomond and is surrounded by the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. It is a popular place for bank fishing for brown trout, perch and pike. Overlooking the loch is Frenich Farm, which has holiday cottages.

Loch Chon is about 33 miles north of Glasgow on the A81 and then B289.
