This panorama was taken from a kayak on Loch Ard (Loch na h-Àirde), a small fresh water loch near to Loch Lomond and Loch Chon in the Trossachs region of Sterlingshire in Scotland. The loch is a popular place for sailing and other water sports like kayaking. Within the loch is an ancient crannog near to Eilean Gorm island.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Loch Ard is about 30 miles north of Glasgow on the A81 and then B289.
