Busselton is regularly voted as the top tourist and beach holiday destination in Western Australia. Lined with sandy beaches and numerous hotels and motels on the edge of Geographe Bay, Busselton makes a great base from which to explore the surrounding parts of the South West Region of Western Australia.
The major tourist attractions in Busselton include the Busselton Jetty, the second longest pier on earth (1841m) with the Underwater Observatory at the far end. Other attractions include Wonnerup House built in 1859 by the Layman family, St Marys Church of England built in 1844 and claiming to be the oldest stone church in Western Australia and Weld Hall. Busselton Jetty is also the starting point for the 100km Augusta-Busselton Heritage Trail.
