Smiths Beach lies just south of Yallingup Beach and Yallingup on the western side of the base of Cape Naturaliste in Western Australia. This is a long, sandy beach popular with holiday makers, many of whom stay locally at the luxury Smith Beach Resort at the southern end of the beach. Also nearby set above the beach are the Chandlers Smiths Beach Villas.
Those who stay here will not be disappointed for Smiths Beach provides good swimming, snorkeling and surfing. The area is also good for both off-shore and shoreline fishing, particularly in the Autumn when there are plentiful salmon in the waters. The coastline near Smiths Beach is beautiful and dramatic, making for good walks. Further afield from Smiths Beach are numerous world renown vineyards of the Margaret River area, many of which also have very good restaurants and wine tasting.
