Sugarloaf Rock is one of the highlights of Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park on the eastern side of Cape Naturaliste in Western Australia. This rock formation just off shore is probably one of the most photographed pieces of coastline in the area. The most dramatic images are taken around dawn as the rising sun lights up the rocks.

Sugarloaf Rock is popular with both shoreline fishermen and birdwatchers. The coastline here has the most southerly breeding colony of red-tailed Tropicbirds in Australia. Walking on the coastline provides dramatic scenery. People often come here at sunset to watch the sun sinking over the ocean. Nearby are Bunkers Bay Beach, Eagle Bay and Meelup Beach.

Sugarloaf Rock is about 13km north of Dunsborough. Take the Cape Naturaliste Road north and after 7km turn right onto Sugarloaf Road. Parking available at the end of the road. If coming from Yallingup take Caves Road to Dunsborough and proceed as above.
