Parliament House (Országház) - Budapest visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Parliament House (Országház)' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Central Hungary.
The Parliament House (Országház) in Budapest was built between 1885 and 1902. It stands in Kossuth Lajos Square as a symbol of Hungary's independence and is a popular tourist attraction in Budapest.
This panoramic was taken from outside the front of the Parliament House (Országház) building in Budapest. The Parliament buildings are surrounded by high fencing and it was not possible to get any closer to the front. There is a separate panorama taken from the rear of Parliament House on banks of the Danube, and another from across the river on the Buda side, close to Batthyany ter.
Parliament House is 96m tall, one of the tallest buildings in Budapest and the same height as St Stephen's Basilica (Szent István-bazilika).
