Apollo Bay is a seaside tourist resort town between Lorne and Cape Otway on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, southern Australia. The town offers swimming and surf beaches, as well as a large boat harbour and marina with a fishing fleet. The town has numerous holiday apartments, bed and breakfast, holiday cottages and a couple of motels to cater for visitors. Many of them boast commanding ocean views.
Local attractions to Apollo Bay include numerous beaches with swimming, snorkeling, surfing, diving and other water sports. Nearby is the Otway Fly treetop walk, the longest of its kind in the world or explore Maits Rest and other forest walkways in Otway National Park. Go hiking on the Great Ocean Walk or explore Triplet Falls near Beach Forest and the historic Cape Otway Lightstation. Take a scenic flights over the Twelve Apostles and the other attractions of the Port Campbell National Park, just an hours drive from Apollo Bay.
