Durdle Door and Man o'War are some of the most photographed pieces of coastline on the South Coast of Dorset. Part of the Jaurassic Coast and a World Heritage Site, Durdle door, and nearby Lulworth Cove are extreemly popular tourist attractions with hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Durdle Door is a dramatic limestone sea arch, and Man o'War bay is popular with swimmers. Both have pebble beaches and lie along the coastal path.

Most people walk here from Lulworth Cove along a path that climbs steeply over the hill. The area is under constant threat, not only from the sea, but also from the pure numbers of visitors, causing erosion to the hillside.

Durdle Door is a short walk from Lulworth Cove. Nearest parking is either at Lulworth or Durdle Door Holiday Resort. Lulworth is about 18 miles west of Swanage (A531, then B3070 roads), and 15 miles east of Weymouth (A 353, then A 352, turn left onto Water Land and High Street).
