The Fox House is one of the better known pubs (public house) in the Peak District in Derbyshire. Standing on two of the main routes in and out of the park jsut 10 miles from Sheffield, the Fox House inn has served customers since 1773. As well as being a bar, the inn has 10 double rooms for visitors.
Inside, the pub is split into two traditional bar rooms, each with wooden beams and log fire. The pub is popular with walkers and locals year round, serving a variety of food and several guest beers.
There are a number of good walking areas near the pub, popular among which are Burbage Valley, Carl Wark and Surprise View.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
The Fox House stands on the junction of the B6521 and A6187, about half a mile from the junction of the A6187 and the A625, which runs west from Sheffield.
