Camas Malag is a small, exposed cove on Loch Slapin close to Torrin on Skye. Camas Malag is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and part of the Strath Special Area of Conservation. The area is popular for walking, a 4km track continues along the coast to Suisnish and Calman Cave. The walk proceeds through various grasslands and hay meadows full of limestone loving plants, close to the ruins of Dun Kearstach. Though a bit exposed, the area is also used for sea kayaking and canoing.

On a clear day, as seen in this image, this secluded piece of coastline offers stunning views over the loch to the surrounding hills. To the north are the red Cuillin hills of Beinn na Cailleach (732m), Beinn Dearg Bheag (582m), Beinn Dearg Mhor (709m) and Beinn na Cro (572m) near Torrin. The view continues round the loch to the Black Cuillin, including Blà Bheinn (928m), also known as Blaven, and Garbh bheinn (806m).

Take the B8083 south from Broadford towards Torrin. Just before Kilbride and Torrin take a left down a single lane track. This passes a working quarry and continues down a hill towards the coast. Parking is available at Camas Malag.
