Loch Slapin is a sea loch running up the eastern edge of the Strathaird Peninsula on Skye. The B8083 runs around the edge of the loch on the way from Torrin before crossing the Stratharid Peninsula to Elgol. The route provides stunning views of some of the Red and Black Cuillin hills, including Blà Bheinn (Blevin). At the point shown in this picture the road is running along the western side of the loch near to Kikibost and Kilmarie, under the ridge of Nead an Fhir-eion (334m).
