The Museum of Edinburgh occupies a 16th century building on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh and covers the history of the city from the earliest times till the present day. On the top floor is an extensive collection of silverware, glassware, pottery made in Edinburgh by various craftworkers down the centuries.
