Szabadság tér in Budapest is also known as Freedom Square of Liberty Square. The park within the square contains a Memorial of the Russian Army in front of the US Embassy. The Art-nouveau National Bank building and the building of the Hungarian Television also line Szabadság tér. Szabadság tér was the location of the riots in 2006.
Szabadság tér is a short walk from Parliament House and the St Stephen's Basilica (Szent István-bazilika) on Szent István tér. It is also close to the Budapest' s famous Chain Bridge.
