View over Cala Banyalbufar - Mallorca visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'View over Cala Banyalbufar' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Balearic Islands.
Cala Banyalbufar lies at the end of a windy, single lane track that descends the hills from Banyalbufar village (Bañalbufar in Spanish) on Mallorca. This small, rocky cove lies on the western coast of the Tramuntana mountains. There are no amenities at the beach, which means that it is secluded and quiet with excellent snorkeling. A waterfall drops onto the beach over a cliff offering a refreshing shower after a swim.
The area around Cala Banyalbufar is popular for walking and cycling, and a path nearby leads from Banyalbufar to Port des Canonge through shaded pine forests. The coastline here is quite dramatic and the viewpoint of Mirador de ses Animes near the village is very popular. Other beaches in the area include Es Corral Fals, Son Bunyola, Cala Estellencs and Es Port des Canonge.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Take the single track road down from the Banyalbufar to a car park at the top of the cliff at the end. Walk from here down to the beach.
