The Black Boy Fountain stands at the junction of King's Park Road and Port Street near the center of Stirling, just opposite the Allanpark Cinema. The fountain was erected in memory of the victims of the 1369 outbreak of the Black Death plague which killed 30% of the inhabitants. Black Boy Fountain was built by the Neilson Foundry of Glasgow and restored in 1997. It is set in a small paved area which contains some seating and an old town clock, a few minutes walk from the Tourist Information Centre and King Street shopping area.
