Port Luinge is a small cove on an inlet at the mouth of Loch Caron in the Scottish Highlands. It lies just west of Plockton on the opposite side of the bay to Port an Enora and Port Ban. Port Luinge is a quiet little beach not much visited by tourists. It is possible to walk out onto the headland of Cnoc na Celpeirein to get good views over the Sound of Sleat to Skye.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Follow signs to Plockton Aerodrome (up a lane from Plockton Station) and park (about 1.2miles from Plockton). Walk west for about 10 minutes through some fields and along an uneven trail down the hill to the beach. The aerodrome is about 6 miles from Kyle of Lochalsh.
