The Hotel Schützen is a family run hotel with 23 rooms giving accommodation for up to 60 people. The Hotel is situated in the center of Lauterbrunnen and offers views of the surrounding mountains and the Staubbach waterfall. Lauterbrunnen station is about 3 minutes away on foot. The hotel is at the end of the Inferno ski Race from the top of the Shilthorn.

Lauterbrunnen is part of the Jungfrau Ski Region, which covers Luterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Grindelwald, Grund and First. There is easy access to all the ski areas from Lauterbrunnen, and it is possible to ski from the top of the Schilthorn directly to the hotel.
