Dean Gallery lies just west of Dean Village in Edinburgh. The gallery contains a large amount of Dada and Surrealist art and literature with significant works by Dalí, Delvaux, Duchamp, Ernst, Giacometti, Magritte, Man Ray, Miró, Picasso and Tanguay. It is free to enter, and also has special, temporary exhibitions.
The Dean Gallery is set in parkland near to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art next to Dean Cemetery. The parkland itself by artists like Ian Hamilton Finlay, Henry Moore, Rachel Whiteread and Barbara Hepworth.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Bus: Dean Gallery.
Dean Gallery is just over a mile from Waverley Station and the Tourist Information Centre. The easiest way to walk there is west along Princes Street, continue past St John's Church onto Shandwick Place. Turn right onto Queensferry Road, left onto Bells Brae just before Dean Bridge and then over the Water of Leith and up Dean Path. Walk through Dean Cemetery, beyond which is the gallery.
