The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh houses works by The Scottish Colourists, Braque, Francis Bacon, Lucien Freud, Boyle Family, Douglas Gordon,Peter Howson, Levannah Harris, Roy Lichtenstein, Matisse, Mondrian, Ben Nicholson, Picasso and Andy Warhol. The collection is so large that items on display need to be rotated. In 2005 the National Gallery of Modern Art added 20 monoprint drawings from Tracey Emin's 'Family Suite' to the collection.
The Sculpture Garden contains a giant 2002 landform sculpture by Charles Jencks. Within the gardens are works by Henry Moore, Rachel Whiteread, Tony Cragg and Barbara Hepworth.
The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art lies just west of Dean Village, and is near the Dean Gallery.
