Bishop's Park opened on 1893 on the banks of the next to Putney Bridge in London. The land was given by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners, it is a Grade II listed park managed by Historic England. Running along the Thames, Bishop's Park has a riverside walk and cycling path. Nearby are Fulham Football Club, Fulham Palace and All Saints Church.
The Rose Garden shown in this picture is at the eastern end of the park, close to the restaurant and All Saints Church. Nearby is a monument to the International Brigade who volunteered to fight in the Spanish Civil War.
The park has a lake, 2 children's paygrounds, an artificial beach and paddle area and a dedicated dog exercise square. For those interested in sports there are bowling greens, football pitches, a putting green, tennis courts
