Holland Park is the largest park in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and one of the most beautiful in London. The park contains a children's play area and adventure playground, a cafeteria, ecology center, formal and informal gardens, and a dog run. For those interested in sports, there are cricket nets, a cricket pitch, football pitch, golf bunker and tennis courts. Holland Park also hosts the Korn/Ferry Opera Holland Park company which performs a programme of high-quality opera during the summer.

The northern end of Holland Park is mostly composed of woodland with various walks. In the middle of the park are the remains of Holland House, the estate house after which the park is named and to which most of the land belonged in the 19th century. It was bombed during the last war. Next to this are various formal gardens, one with a pond and fountain near the Orangery. Near the house is the Kyoto Garden, a Japanese garden with a lake full of large carp. At the southern end of the park is a dog-free playing field.

Just south of Holland Park is the old Commonwealth Institute building, for which a new use is currently being explored. The park has also given its name to the surrounding area which contains some of the most expensive houses in London.
