At the southern end of Holland Park, just behind the Commonwealth Institute, is a large, open playing field. The area is popular with locals for kicking balls around, flying kites or just relaxing as it is a dog free area. Further north with in the park are other sports areas, formal gardens and the Kyoto Gardens, a Japanese garden.
Holland Park is the largest park in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London.
