The Church of Santa Maria del Pi (Església de Santa Maria del Pi) was built in the 14th century. It is a Gothic style church named after the pine tree that stood in this place. The church was burnt out in 1936 and restored in the 1960's. Inside visitors will find some fine stained glass windows and a large rose window over the entrance.

Església de Santa Maria del Pi stands as the focal point of three squares a short distance from the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia in the Gothic District. One of these, the Placa Sant Josep Oriol, often filled with artists.
