Parroquia of Sant Francesc de Sales (Church of Saint Francis of Sales) was built at the end of the 19th century on one of the widest avenues in Barcelona a short distance from the Plaça de Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer. The church was designed by Joan Martorell who used narrow, long capitals to give the impression of reaching to the heavens. The outside is made of red brick and the inside is decorated with various tiles. Parroquia of Sant Francesc de Sales is part of the Colegio de los Hermanos Maristas.
