Santa Maria Montalegre is a Catholic church in Barcelona, close to the Facultat de Geografia i Història (Faculty of History and Geography of Barcelona University) and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (Barcelona Centre of Contemporary Culture). This is a modern church, consecrated in 1902 and designed by August Font.

In 1362 a community of nuns moved to Barcelona from Tiana and established a chapel here. The community remained here until 1593 when the monastery was transferred to the Episcopal Seminary of Our Lady of Montalegre who established a House of Charity here in 1802. The current building, dating from the early 20th century, was damaged during the Spanish Civil War of 1936 and in 1967 it was given into the care of Opus Dei, a Catholic sect.
