Piste 21 Tschuggen - Ski Kleine Scheidegg - PHOTOGRAPHER COMMENT

Panorama taken part way down piste 21 while skiing in Kleine Scheidegg. The picture was taken near the bottom of the slope on the final approach to the chairlift. As usual, the backdrop of mountains around the ski resort is stunning. There are a number of skiers and snow boarders visible in this image.

Piste 21 Tschuggen - Ski Kleine Scheidegg - FURTHER INFORMATION

Piste 21 Tschuggen - Ski Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfrau visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Piste 21 Tschuggen - Ski Kleine Scheidegg' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Bernese Oberland.

Red run 21 (Tschuggen) descends down from Kleine Scheidegg to the Arven Garde Bar mountain restaurant and the bottom of the Arven Chair Lift. The top of the run is quite steep while the bottom levels out into a schuss. This run then continues all the way down the mountain to Grindelwund Grund some 1000m below on the valley floor. Nearby blue run 22 (Mettlen) follows a gentler route also past Arven Garde Bar to Grindelwund Grund.

Honegg chair also starts near the Arven Garde Bar, taking skiers up to the top of the Inberg red run and the Gummi Nord (16), one of the black runs in the resort. These lifts are covered by the passes for the Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen ski area within the wider Jungfrau mountain region.

In the summer months the area is popular for mountain walking, and the chairlifts provide easy access to some of the most stunning scenery in Europe. The path along here is dominated by views of the Lauberhorn (2473m), Jungfrau (4158m) and Jungfraujoch, as well as the Mönch (4107m) and then the Eiger (3970m) and Schrekhorn (4078m).

See the Jungfrau Sking Map for more about skiing in the region, with a breakdown of the number and types of ski lifts, ski runs and connections. It also contains an interactive piste map with various 360° panoramas taken from the various skiing areas.
