Cala Santa Galdana is one of the most popular holiday resorts in . The circular cove on the south of the island is protected by high headlands and marketed as one of the most beautiful beach resorts in the whole of the Balearic Islands.
The resort is quite heavily developed, with numerous large resort hotel, a marina, restaurants and bars. It still retains much of the natural charm, and the hotel developments have not destroyed the natural beauty of the resort. Aside from hotels there are numerous holiday apartments and villas available of holidaymakers.
Cala Santa Galdana has two stunning viewpoints on the headlands, both within easy walking distance of the resort. The whole coastline here is lined with walking tracks and nearby is a campsite and some natural caves. Cala Santa Galdana is close to the beaches of Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana and Cala Trebaluger.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Road: Cala Santa Galdana is 8km from Ferreries (PM-714). The fastest route to it from either Ciutadella de Menorca or Mahon is via Ferreries.
