Knoll Beach - FURTHER INFORMATION
Knoll Beach - Swanage visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Knoll Beach' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Dorset.
Knoll Beach is one of the sandy beaches that line the coast between Shell Bay at the entrance to Poole Harbour and Studland. This continuous stretch of sand is broken down into a number of beaches, such as Middle Beach and South Beach, each of which has a separate car park. Beyond Studland the sand gives way to chalk cliffs and rocks which terminate in Old Harry Rocks.
Knoll Beach is managed by the National Trust, and also contains a well signed nudist section. It is the only nudist beach managed by the NT, and one of the most popular nudist beaches in England. The beach has fine, white sands backed by sand dunes and heather which form part of the Studland Nature Reserve. The National Trust manage a cafe next to the car park.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
