It is one of the attractions in Wareham, well worth a visit.Notable features inside the church include some magnificent stained glass windows and a unique Victorian central heating system. The church also contains a rare 6-sided lead font, one of only a few in existence. Also within the church are fragments of an 11th century font, Saxon cross and memorial stones from the 7th or 8th century. Next to the church is Hillview Cemetery, which contains many ancient grave stones. A short walk away, at the other end of Wareham, St Martin on the Wall Church, the oldest Saxon church in Dorset.
