Wat Saket (Thai: วัดสระเกศราชวรมหาวิหาร) is mostly known for Golden Mount which rises from the grounds. The full name of this temple is Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan, the temple stands between Ratchadamnoen Klang and Boripihat road in the Pom Prap Sattru Phai district of Bangkok.
The ubosot compound of Wat Saket is very clean, with a beautiful courtyard. Inside the Ubosot is a large seated Buddha statue
All most people know about Wat Saket is the Golden Mount (Phu Khao Thong, ภูเขาทอง) and simply ignore the rest of the Wat Saket compound. This 58m high chedi forms a prominent landmark within Bangkok and is a very popular tourist attraction. There are great panoramic views over Bangkok from the top of Golden Mount. From here it is easy to see Wat Rajnadda, Loh Prasat, and the Pom Mahakhan Fort.
The Queen's Gallery and the King Prajadhipok Museum are also close to Wat Saket.
