This lilly pond lies south of Wat Phra Ram (Wat Phraram) in Ayutthaya. The temple was built in 1369 on the site of the cremation of King U-Thong and has a Cambodain style prang (central tower). Wat Phra Ram was renovated in both the 15th and 18th centuries. It is open to the public, though entrance fees are applied.

Wat Phraram is on Thanon Phrasisanphet in the old town of Ayutthaya, close to the Tourist Information Office.
