The Church of the Sacred Heart is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Singapore. It is considered to be a national monument.The Church of the Sacred Heart was built in 1906, and renovated in 1969 with more work being done more recently. This is a Roman Catholic church with a congregation of about 500 with regular aid for the poor distributed by the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
