This panorama shows one of the beaches at Albufeira, one of the most popular resort towns on the Algarve coast in Portugal. Albufeira attracts thousands of visitors each year who flock to the sandy beaches and enjoy swimming, sailing and boating in the sun. The town has numerous hotels, hostels and other holiday accommodation to cater for visitors of all budgets, as well as a large selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. Albufeira also has a vibrant night life, which focusses around the various clubs and bars along the 'Strip'.Albufeira Beaches: There are numerous beaches along the coast near to Albufeira. Travel Directions and Getting There:
Flight: Faro Airport, a 40 minute drive away.
Train: Albufeira station is about 7km north of the beachfront.
Road: Albufeira is almost half way between Portimao and Faro, just south of the IC4 / A22.
