Platges de Comtes (Beaches of Comtes) lie along a series of coves on the northwest corner of Ibiza, covering part of the coastline between Punta de sa Torre and Punta de s'Embarcador. The beaches here are well known for fantastic sunsets over the sea. There are a couple of beach bars and restaurants on the cliff above with good views over to Illa des Bosc, s'Espartar and sa Conillera islands. The total stretch here is about 600m long with beaches up to 30m wide.
The Platges de Compte, along with the beaches at Cala Bassa, Cala d'Hort and Ses Salines, have been awarded Blue Flag status for water quality and cleanliness.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Road: Platges de Comte are about 11km from Sant Josep. Take the PM803 north towards San Antoni, and turn west along country lanes at Sant Agusti de Vedra.
