Platges de Comtes literally means the 'Beaches of Comtes' and refers to a stretch of coastline on the northwestern end of Ibiza. The beaches here line a number of small coves below a low cliff, facing west between Punta de sa Torre and Punta de s'Embarcador. The area is very popular for watching the sunset, and there are a couple of beach bars and restaurants on the cliff tops. The coastline is relatively undeveloped, with no nearby hotels or beach resorts.

Platges de Comets is one of four beaches near to Sant Josep which has been awarded the Blue Flag for both excellent water quality and cleanliness. The three other Blue Flag beaches nearby are Cala Bassa, Cala d'Hort and Ses Salines.

Road: Platges de Comte are about 11km from Sant Josep. Take the PM803 north towards San Antoni, and turn west along country lanes at Sant Agusti de Vedra. Parking available above the beach.
