Ibiza Port occupies the large bay around which Eivissa (Ibiza Town) is built. Overlooked by the Dalt Vila and lined by various hotels, the harbour contains a large marina, departure points for various boat trips and excursions. On the southern side are ferries serving Mallorca, Formentera among the other Balearic Islands as well as Barcelona, Alicante and Valencia on the Spanish mainland.

Ibiza still remains the No.1 destination for summer clubbing holidays, and a number of clubs are near the port, as are the hotels that serve them.
