Tongxiang is a small city in north Zhejiang Province in China, a little west of Jiaxing and south of Shanghai. Tongxiang is the home of Hángbáijú, a variety of chrysanthemum flower tea, and the city holds annual chrysanthemum festivals. It is also the home town of Mao Dun (Shen Dehong), a famous 20th century Chinese novelist and journalist.

Most tourists associate Tongxiang with the ancient town of Wuzhen, staying in one of the hotels in Tongxiang.
