Just to the west of San Antonio on Ibiza are the small villages of Sant Mateu d'Albarca and Santa Agnes de Corona. These little settlements have a relaxed, slow pace of life, surrounded by fields and groves of olive and fruit trees. The small country road linking the two winds through the countryside and hills, passing ancient dry-stone boundary walls and through woods.
Sant Mateu is within relatively easy striking distance of San Antonio, and has a fantastic restaurant. It is worth driving out to get away from the frantic pace of the port to relax among the stars. Nearby are the popular beaches of Cala des Molto and Port de San Miguel Beach.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
