Tri Trang Beach lies at the base of a peninsula just 3km west of Patong and Patong Beach on the western coast of Phuket. Home to the Tri Trang Merlin Beach Resort and Tri Trang Beach Resort, the beach itself is much quieter than the beaches Patong Beach. The white sandy beach faces south and is backed by the wall delineating the property of the Merlin Beach Resort.

Tri Trang beach is ideal for snorkelling with many rocks within the water, with coral reefs about 60m offshore. Nearby is the popular Goodview Restaurant. From here it is possible to hire a longtail boat to take you to Freedom Beach on the southern side of the peninsula.

Car: Tri Tang Beach is 3km from Patong. Take the ramp leading up from the southern end of Patong Beach and follow round to the Merlin Beach Resort. A dirt track alongside the resort leads down to the beach.
