Track to Paradise Beach - FURTHER INFORMATION
Track to Paradise Beach - Phuket visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Track to Paradise Beach' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from South Thailand.
Paradise Beach lies at the end of a steep, windy track through jungle at the end of a headland south of Patong Beach. The track is private land, though currently open to the public. The land owners rent sunbeds and run a small cafe on the beach itself, which is set in a beautiful cove away from the hotels and crowds of Patong.
Recently a property developer brought land on the headland with the intention of developing a hotel resort here, so the seclusion of Paradise Beach may not last for much longer.
Paradise Beach is one of four beaches on the headland. The others, also relatively quiet, are Tri Tra Beach next to Tri Trang Beach Resort, Tri Trang Beach by the Merlin Beach Resort, and Freedom Beach, which can only be accessed by boat.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Car: Tri Tra Beach is 4km from Patong. Take the ramp leading up from the southern end of Patong Beach and follow to the end of the headland. A windy track descends through the jungle to the beach. This is private land.
Boat / Jet ski: Longtail taxi boat or jet ski from Patong Beach.
