Prom Thep Cape (Laem Phrom Thep) lies at the southern end of Phuket. The cape is popular for the stunning views of the surrounding area, glorious sunsets and romantic feel. Visitors to the cape will find Kanchanaphisek Lighthouse, Prince of Jumborn - 28th son of Rama 5th, a Buddhist elephant shirne with hundreds of model elephants, a small restaurant and various stalls selling tourist items.
From the top a small, dirt track winds down Prom Thep Cape to the point, terminating in a rocky outcrop. This provides fantastic panoramic views of the coastline, taking in a number of islands like Ko Man and Ko Bon. To the north you can see Nai Harn Beach past Ko Man.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
Car: Phromthep Cape is 19km south of Mueang Phuket (Phuket Town) on the 4024 and about 15km south of Patong and Patong Beach. Park at the top of the cape.
