Nai Harn Beach is probably one of the best beaches on Phuket. It has 1km of golden sand sloping gently into a sandy bay, protected by headlands. Near to the beach are the Royal Phuket Yacht Club Hotel and All Seasons Nai Harn Hotel. Ko Man island lies just offshore.Nai Harn has no jet skis or speedboats to break the natural sounds, though kayaks can be hired to explore the coastline. Behind the beach is a natural, salt water lagoon that fills and empties with the tide. This creates a small stream in which children often play.
The 5-star Royal Phuket Yacht Club Hotel is at the nothern end of the beach. In the middle, nestled among casuarina trees, are BBQ sites, restaurants and souvenir shops. The southern end of No Harn is the quieter section of the beach. Just to the west is Ao Sane Beach and to the south are Yanui Beach (Nai Harn Noi Beach) and Prom Thep Cape.
Travel Directions and Getting There:
Car: Nai Harn Beach is 19km southwest of Mueang Phuket (Phuket Town) on the 4024 and about 21km south of [[4858,Patong]] and [[4859,Patong Beach]]. The beach is well sign-posted.
