Yanui Beach - FURTHER INFORMATION
Yanui Beach - Phuket visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Yanui Beach' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from South Thailand.
Considered by some to be almost perfect, Yanui Beach lies between Nai Harn Beach and Prom Thep Cape in southwest Phuket. The beach is quite small, with fine sand sloping gently into the bay, overlooked by the surrounding hills with Koh Kaeo Noi (Ko Man) island just offshore. Yanui beach is sometimes referred to as 'Nai Harn Noi beach'.
Yanui Beach has beautiful, clear water and little surrounding development or hotels to spoil the views, or jet skis and speedboats to disturb the quiet. Sun loungers may be hired, as can sea kayaks which allows visitors to explore the coastline and Koh Kaeo Noi island.
Although badly damaged by the 2004 tsunami, Yanui Beach has now recovered well, the restaurant and nearby bungalows have been rebuilt and the coral in the bay is recovering. The bay is good for bathing and also good for snorkelling. Often yachts will be floating in the water.
TRAVEL DIRECTIONS AND GETTING THERE
