Elephant Village - Further Information

Elephant Trekking is a popular attraction in Phuket, and there are at least two Elephant Villages on the island. This one is close to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre and Bang Bae Waterfall, next to the 4027 road. It is often possible to just pull up at the village and book an excursion.

Another Elephant Village, known as Phuket Elephant Village is located just south of Kata Beach at the southwestern end of Phuket.



Travel Directions and Getting There:
Car: This Elephant Village is about 26km north of Phuket Town and 310km from [[4858,Patong]], 5km north of Ph Khlok. Follow signs into Khao Phro Thaeo Wildlife Park off the 4027 road, next to the junction signposted for [[4884,Bang Bae Waterfall]] and the [[4882,Gibbon Rehabilitation Project]].
