Santa Maria Maddalena church (Chiesa di S. Maria Maddalena) stands on the edge of Piazza Capranica just north of Plaza della Rotonda and the Pantheon in Rome. This church is dedicated to Mary Magdalene, unlike most of the Mary churches in Rome, which are dedicated to Mary the mother of Jesus.
Santa Maria Maddalena is a 17th century Baroque style church, completed in 1699, though the curved façade was completed 1735 in Rococo style. The church is not a major tourist attraction in Rome, and not regularly visited. Nearby are Piazza Navona and Piazza Colonna.
