Highbury Fields Cafe - Further Information

Highbury Fields is the largest open space in the London borough of Islington. It covers 29 acres running north from Highbury Corner almost as far as Highbury Barn and contains open areas, football courts and tennis courts. It is home to the Highbury Fields Tennis League and is often used by Highbury Fields School for sports and games.

Highbury Terrace runs along the western side of Highbury Fields. This set of terraced houses was built in 1777 and have been occupied by some notable people in the past, including John Wesley, Joseph Chamberlain and the Impressionist artist Walter Sickert.
