Commercial Quay - FURTHER INFORMATION
Commercial Quay - Edinburgh visitor guide showing a virtual tour of 'Commercial Quay' linked to an interactive map with local and travel information. 360° panoramas from Lothian.
Commercial Quay runs parallel to Commercial Street Bridge in Leith. In past times this would have been a busy quay, part of Leith Port. Today, instead of lining the water, Commercial Quay backs onto a car park. The old wharf buildings here, next to Customs House, currently house numerous restaurants and is popular with diners looking for a relaxing alternative to Edinburgh city center.
Commercial Quay is within walking distance of Ocean Terminal shopping centre and the Royal Britannia Yacht tourist attraction. Also nearby are the shops, restaurants, hotels galleries and pubs along Shore and the Water of Leith.
Commercial Quay is surrounded by luxury housing, and may be redeveloped in the future along with other parts of the old port.
